Is Ranking up on Empire, still bugged?

Just gonna keep doing the missions whenever you see it. On average it took like 2 to 3 missions in order to gain 1 rank.

2 o 3 missions? Im doing that number per day, at least, for the last month and NO NAVAL ASCENSION!! Im doing 4-5 per system-station, AND NOTHING HAPPENS... do you know guys where i can report a ticket about this?

Did you test before or after the today's patch ? It should be fixed now.

Ascension missions themselves have been fixed in today's patch apparently. But in terms of how many missions you need to do before being offered one it depends what rank you're on. For outsider its almost nothing, for king its somewhere in the region of 50+. You literally need to stick at the station your at and keep bashing out missions constantly until the naval rank mission pops up for you. It can take a long time.

So far yesterday, I did 11 missions that offer rank rise. Mostly covert runs and a couple of kills. Missions have completed but no rank rise, I'll log on later and hope for the best.

Im still stuck at "Squire", for the last month and im doing missions every day, and nothing happens... All kind of missions, different stations, systems, you name it... but no naval ascension mission.

Is this normal or is still bugged?

'Bugged' is word commonly used along with 'broken'.

I'm old fashioned so 'faulty' works for me. As does 'debacle'.

Metaphorically Powerplay was the addition of a hot tub to a house without a functional bathroom.

Can only go on my own experience, went from outsider to King since 1.3 released. I stuck at one station, ground out missions until I had gone up a couple of naval ranks, then moved on to another system and repeated the process. Some say it's not even necessary to move station at all and it's purely down to the amount of missions you complete but other people say it's down to the amount of rep you have with a variety of sub-factions. Either way sticking around at one station until I went up two ranks then moving on seemed to work best for me in the end.
