Is Rare trading really worth it?

I think rares trading is tailored now for the Cobra sized cargo hold. Since from one cluster like Lave to another, you can't really get more than 30ish in total per spawn.

Once you get above 30t capacity they are not worth bothering with

The trick is to buy up to cap: They refresh up to a point, usually 7-15t. you don't have to wait around long, or you can just do two circuits of the area, but I can usually fill an 80t hold very easily.

Yes I wholeheartedly agree. If trading hasn't changed, I could make 1 million in one round trip in a Lakon 9 having the right route with common goods.
