Is something going on in LHS 20?

LHS 20 used to be my "home system" until I moved into my Space-Winnebago but I still like to go back, check in and help keep the peace there.
I noticed it was in Civil Unrest so I toddled across and the entire system is wall-to-wall with FC's.

So, what's the attraction?

I'm allied with all the factions there and I'm not seeing any extra-special missions.
There's a few mining sites there but, again, nothing special.

There are, currently, a couple of Pirate Activity POIs where players can harvest mat's but I regularly visit systems in Civil Unrest to do that and they're never usually this busy.

Has somebody arranged a New Year's party at Ohm City or something?
If so, I guess my invite got lost in the post. :confused:

Yeah but it's always had those advantages (that's why I moved there) but it isn't usually wall to wall with players.

Probably coalition related? Us independents stick together if one of us is attacked. But I've heard nowt or my carrier would be there hehe.
So no idea why their there.

This - and also it's pretty well stocked in terms of outfitting. When your ship only jumps 10ly it's a closer version of Diaguandri.

alexandrite is also selling for a good price. system has an alexandrite hotspot with a hazrez sitting right on top of it.
side note: there are carriers perma-parked all over the bubble, often in systems where there is NO logical reason for them to be there at all, let alone perpetually.
the tinfoil hat part of my brain suspects that about half of the fleet carriers in game are actually owned by Cmdrs.......

So I was talking to some noobs in my free epic account and neither me or them could spell diaguandri. So I just told them LHS 20 and like 14 people went there at the same time. This happened a couple of weeks ago
