Is Thargoid intedriction still possible in 2.3?

Hi,
I know I am bit late with this question :rolleyes: but I just returned to playing ED from big break and would like to know is there still possibility to be interdicted by Thargoids near Maia?
I missed this and would be happy to see it myself. 2.4 is coming shortly so I have to be hurry...

I was personally a little surprised to see no definite answer to this throughout the various facets of the internet.
Since January there were reports that it had been removed in a recent patch or that people were saying "I don't know but..."

I can confirm absolutely, definitely for you that yes - the Thargoid Scout 'hyperdiction' event is still occurs.

Beware though, that the odds are not in your favor. Many, many a commander has spend days of time jumping around Maia and area and not been hyperdicted. If you've been away for a while, you may want to consider doing something like visit the "live" alien bases, probably a better use of your time. Welcome back and good luck.

I had an unknown probe as well as an unknown artifact in my cargo, maybe that helps...

I can not find any information on internet and I am glad that all of you answerd me! :)
I will go visit those bases and try jumping from and near Maia and maybe it will happen...
