His parents are going to enter him into a competition

If he provides them with enough copyright-free content, he'll have a chance of getting a present, assuming no other passing five year old child does any better

I believe the OP is referring to Fdevs 25 year celebration.

My understanding is that OP either wants:

A.) Fdev to give everyone the prizes
B.) Give no one prizes because if only 1 person can get things then no one should
C.) Fdev change the name from prizes to competition because the internet is a petty petty place

I may be wrong though.......

His Mom is going to enter him into a competition.
If can tell, why he loves his Mom so much, he might get a nice reward - asuming his three brothers and two sisters don't do any better.

No problem with the competition, the grand prize looks quite generous; they could have given us all a bobble-head or paint job or something though, it's not as though they cost them anything.

Fairly new to the company myself – since early 2015. Just have Elite: Dangerous, LEP for it, bunch of cosmetics, and Jurassic World Evolution Deluxe Edition.

Pretty fond of the games overall, but yeah, the promo comes across a bit strange to me. Not particularly interested in being bribed (perhaps a bit harsh, but not sure of a more apt description offhand) into the promo celebrations.

Its no different to any old freebie promo. Cereal manufacturers have been plastering exactly the same thing on their boxes for decades (maybe longer). At least there's no plastic dinosaur choking hazard.
