I am currently running a 980Ti at the mo as was hoping to do a staged upgrade, monitor first then gpu - albeit doing the second part some time later due to 1080Ti's costing £850 and up at the moment.
Some bundles are starting to appear (a la AMD) - https://www.scan.co.uk/products/asu...ics-card-plus-27-rog-swift-pg279q-165hz-1440p which are trying to take the Cyptomining premium out of the equation .... But that is a significant single outlay.
The new Acer, the X27, is due any time but it is a 4K display not a 2K - https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/predator-series/predatorx27 and is possibly going to cost around the £1000 mark!
The XB271HU is still available at some vendors, although prices seem to be increasing and 27 Inch / 1440p seems the natural progression to my current 24 Inch / 1080p.
Thoughts and alternatives please?
