is the AFMU broken?

Simple as that, I stopped at jaques station and wanted to repair my modules. I shut down t life support and power up my AFMU and try to repair life support a little wrench symbol was shown next ot it but no matter how long I left it running the percentage didn't rise up. Even after 10 mins it was still at 75% and no ammo was eaten from AFMU, i used a refill thinking it ran out of ammo but it didn't work.
Am I missing something or is thing glitched?

edit: even after logging out adn back in it didn't work

Maybe you need to be outside of the station. All repairs I have done have been in deep space (automatic FIELD maintenance unit). I may be way off butvi would give it a try, stay within station boundaries and wait till you are in the free fire zone, power thrusters down turn on AFU and see.

yup it worked when i was outside of the station. Man i wanted to repair my life support witouth losing my precious oxygen time.

Yup, O2 timer re-fills when entering station. I found the hard way it doesn't apply to outposts :p

Jacques being out there is fantastic for those of us that like to keep repaired up but run the timer down a bit :)
