Is the Alliance a real faction yet ?

I'm only seeing Empire and Federation goings on just now.
Doing a lot of in-system missions for Alliances and really want to stay this way but I read (rightly or wrongly) that the Alliance hasn't been fully 'implemented' yet by Frontier ???
Anyone confirm ?

And will any Influence gained be wiped if it does get implemented properly ?

The Alliance are a group of allied independent systems, that have bonded together for mutual benefit and to protect themselves from the Federation and Empire, which means, at the moment, they do not involve themselves with the shadow boxing of the big boys. Whether this will evolve and change through the storylines, I could not tell you. They are a real faction, but they are not an aggressive one.

I don't wish to be overly critical, but to get satisfactory answers you might want to ask more specific questions, unless you're only asking for opinions or craftily stating your own.
For example, I don't know what 'fully implemented' means, and the answer is almost certainly no for all three factions.

Alliance doesn't have military ranks at the moment, maybe it never will, or faction-specific ships, as the other two major factions have.
But this could be explained in lore by their looser military and government structures. It may be that certain ships will only be available to 'Friendly' or 'Allied' players, for instance. Or not.

But the capital Alioth, and the systems around it, have been buzzing with Cmdrs recently, and there have been attempts to expand influence in the area using the background simulation. It doesn't seem any less 'implemented' in that respect than the other major factions, or independent systems.

It is true that the Alliance does not yet feature in the injected storylines, but that doesn't mean you can't take part as an Alliance loyalist.

Let the bootlickers, and those who confuse capital with human values, weaken each other and fight themselves.

If my Alliance rep is artificially borked by FD I will be a) very surprised and b) furious. Won't ever happen is my guess.

LOL not craftily stating an opinion, trying to understand how the factions work especially for the Alliance. I see lots of activity for Federation and Empire but nothing for Alliance, grinding my way through missions but progress is slow (Friendly in a couple of systems, Neutral in Alliance) and the System Permit thing isn't particularly transparent either. I'd love to see an Alliance/ Independents story based arc start to show up. I might head to systems around Alioth and see what's happening.

dukes of mikunn example, weve got them expanded into a second system, but they dont go past 9% influence, so perhaps only the fed and imps can expand their space the moment. CSG is another example, they were pushed to take a fed station, and now are part of the fed. so we can reduce federation inlufnece and control

Im trying to force them back in sukra near HR and mikunn no luck yet
