I recently came across a situation in a CQC group where a player was saying he had been killed with one shot while shields where a full and he claims he had 4 pips to shields. At first I said that it must be a glitch as you cannot cheat on the PS4 (I didn't think you could)... However, it turns out that the player who shot him was using a device called a CronusMax Plus. This player stated as such and even posted a link to the device in the PSN chat.
Apparently this CronusMax Plus usb device can allow the use of ANY controller on PS4, which sounds great, but can also allow you to create macros, such as rapid fire, where 1 shot can be turned in 99shots, and you can program multiple combo moves into the press of one button, while also allowing you to use things like keyboard and mouse.
This to me sounds like cheating on PS4 and appears to give the user of the CronusMax Plus an unfair advantage over other players, where a player can almost one shot people in CQC and maybe in Open PvP (using the 'rapidfire' mod).
My question is for both the Devs, and the community... Is everyone aware of such a device? And is the use of this device deemed to be cheating/hacking, or is it regarded as accepted use?
