Is the Giga too long or is the T-Rex too short in the game?

I see that the Giga model is longer than the Spinosaurus, and since the scaling of the models, the T-Rex seems to me too short.

What do you think about that? Is it something that could be modified or would it be an irrelevant change?

Real T-Rex and Giga. Giga is a bit longer, but less bulky. The game just misses the lengths.

I believe this is a perspective error based on the posture of the Spinosaurus's neck as well as not having a side by side image of them for proper comparison. It's also not good to use Carcharodontosaurus in place of Giganotosaurus as they have very different proportions from each other in contrast to their real life counterparts which were theorized to look very similar. As of the 1.4 update, Spinosaurus's length was scaled up to 15 meters. Tyrannosaurus, which was the largest prior to the update was scaled down to 13.5 meters. Giganotosaurus, which apparently was 12 meters prior to the update (and it showed, darn thing was puny) was scaled up to 13.5 meters. Indominus rex remains the largest of the carnivores.

Regardless, as long as their sizes are approximate to each other, I don't see it being worth changing as that's how they should be. The issue with their sizes before the 1.4 update was released was that Giganotosaurus and Spinosaurus were puny. Tyrannosaurus dwarfed the both of them.

Giganoto and Carcharadonto were both very long, slightly longer than Tyrannosaurus. However they were built lighter and more gracile, and while their skulls were enormous they were built for slashing bites, not armor crushing. They're all their proper sizes, as is Spinosaurus.

Sorry I could not insert as pictures here. But open the links and look.

Just watch a fight of both with super plongée vision. From profile perspective can deceive more.

Giga is very long. He had a normal tail to fool the small size. As they increased it, it was very long. The Carcha is similar to the length of the Giga.

What bothers me more is the tail of the T-Rex, which appears to be very short. It had its size decreased, however as the model remained the same, lost much in length.

Again, the comparative image of the length of a Tyrannosaurus with a Giganotosaurus. The difference is not as absurd as many imagine. I even think Tyrannosaurus was bigger than Giganotosaurus (in Weight, volume...) though it lost in length a little. In the game, the difference is huge.

These are official Frontier models.

It is apparent that the models had their sizes corrected, but not the length. Tyrannosaurus is very short, and Giga should be less long. I also think that Frontier has already modified and improved these models, and is now working on more important things. But it's kind of disappointing that details like this stay forever like this.

I hope this is corrected one day. At least that's my opinion.

I disagree as to the length of the -T-Rex. See the pictures I put.

In the game, I consider the T-Rex is much shorter than the others.

I think it was shorter than these others, but not as much as here at JWE. There was an error resizing. In a hurry, T-Rex and others stayed like this.

The short answer is that it would be a irrelevant change. Making the Rex's tail longer wouldn't do anything in-game. It would be unnoticeable unless you went out of your way to make a really good comparison between the animals. All of them look great size-wise compared to each other, in my opinion. Not perfect, but more than good enough. I'd leave it as it is. Too much trouble for no gain.
