It has always been proclaimed by the player base that the
“Loading screen”,
Hyperspace Conduit,
Witch space,
Is a series of random animations and effects. I’ve always felt so.
But just how certain are we?
Has it been confirmed?
Raxxla.
Running off the lore and concepts proposed, an axis Mundi (the stone at Delphi), is a navigational marker
From which the ancient sailors orientated their maps by an Origin.
A spiral of stars is of course an opening to hyperspace.
And maybe....there is a navigational marker “in” hyperspace.
So I’ve been running some experiments with the destination “star” appearing in the conduit, there are some stars that appear (or not) to the side of the destination star. Using these as our signposts. The colour (and brightness), the orientation of the peripheral star (and even the number of these stars) to the destination star, appears to be consistent to the direction of hyperspace travel (to a degree). So
Repeating the same the trip A->b
Gave The same star colour/count at the end of the animation.
Altering My pitch (up or down) repositioned the peripheral star above/below the destination star.
Now I might have been hauling onionhead for a bit longer than I should whilst being on the searching for Raxxla.
so I needed to dock and check in with the other pilots of the federation to help ratify my theory and/or sanity
