Is the loss of the 80% heat warning intended or a bug?

You used to get a warning about heat when your temperature reached 80%. Since 2.2 that doesn't happen (which was a shock when I started to boil while fuel scooping:eek:). Is this an intended change or a bug? If intended, why? What does anyone gain by not having a high temperature warning?:S

I think it is an isolated bug, as I have been getting the warning nearly constantly due to the recent CG (beams are love, beams are life, except when they fry my internals).

Ah, just tested it out, I think if the ship's computer is already saying something, it just supersedes the voiced heat warning and just relies on the alarm.

Hope this is of help.

Disregard, OP is right, it doesn't say anything while fuel scooping, odd.

Unsure if it is a bug or intended honestly.

Just disregard me, I can't remember there being anything when you hit 80% aside from the klaxons.

I just checked and there is still an option for vocal warnings for high temperatures which is still turned on in the audio settings. I don't recall hearing any annoucement earlier and I was overheating a few times.

Must be a bug.

I've noticed a lot of audio triggers inconsistently being applied since the 2.2 release; sometimes i get warnings that my target's shields have been dropped, others not. Sometimes get temperature audio, others not.

I was beginning to wonder if it was related to my system, but guess not.
