Yes if you plan to do a lot of combat or provide redemption services for friends / squadron (bonds cashed if you are in an unoccupied system didn't used to give the inf+ to the factions earned from)
Otherwise, not really.

I find it worth it for my peace of mind to cash in bounties or Codex payments.

But I have no idea if it is financially worth it as I haven’t looked at my carrier’s finances in detail in ages.

Yes, it is. The on foot vendor, however, absolutely not. The operational cost is well beyond any value.

IMO, nope.
If it included interstellar factors to pay off bounties and fines then I would install without question.
When bounty hunting you're always near a station to hand stuff in, which in my case is usually a damn sight closer than my FC, so when I go to rearm/repair/refuel I hand bounties in and don't take a -25% hit.

The utility of the Redemption Office when the carrier is operating within inhabited space is questionable at best. I keep the lights on there in case I am seized by a sudden urge to head out into wild space, and I'm too much of a lazy billionaire to suspend services.
