I don't need people to tell me whether or I need it or not. I use the improved scope, I just wanted to let others see the difference and decide for themselves whether or not they want it.

I always imagine that whenever a sniper rifle is added to a game there's some poor programmer who realises all the LOD code they wrote is based entirely on distance.

Its a very half-arsed approach for sure, but it kinda works sufficiently I suppose.

Why is everything outside of the scope zoomed in too? See, scope not required.

Might be worth considering for a weapon in an Artemis loadout. Not for combat, but to give you a portable telescope.

I keep a huge magnifying glass handy, next to my monitor, and use it on top of the scope, for added accuracy!

The problem is that the bullets do not travel far enough to really make the extra zoom worth the loss of a mod slot.

I have the mod and no matter how good you aim the bullet never makes it to the target that far away.

Ya gotta feel for dev that had no choice but this cheap implementation because of forced time/engine constraints, knowing it is going on his resume to boot.
