Is the Type 8 available to buy in game now as opposed to buying with ARX on the website?

You can also buy it with ARX in game. But not credits.
You cannot buy it for credits until November, arx only now.
AfaIk you can deploy the prebuild ship at any shipyard (optional).

Currently you have to buy it with Arx, then select deploy at a shipyard menu to actually get to use it.
Your Arx purchase unlocks Early Access so after deploying your ship you will be able to buy additional ones at any shipyard that stocks them using credits.
In probably three months it will be available to purchase as normal as long as you are in Odyssey.
But that must have been the prebuild one you can deploy at any shipyard

You can only have one at a time as long as it is in early access. When it goes normal in November, then you can buy multiple copies with in game credits...
I bought a Python Mk2 (standard version) with credits on 09/07/24 well before the update last Wednesday when it became generally available I already had a Stellar in service since they launched.
You can only have one of the Arx bought ships at a time.
Does this mean that if I got the Python with ARX early access (When it first became available as early access) that I cannot have the Type 8 now as early access?
Or does this mean I can only have the plain or the fancy early access Type 8 but not both?
This will suck if I have to get rid of the Python MKII, or not have access to the TYPE 8 I bought. I also wanted to get the Beluga.

Hmm... no, but you can only deploy e.g. one prebuilt Python Mk II and not a second one. And I guess the same logic applies to any one of the other prebuilt ships, deploying the prebuilt version at a shipyard - only one, buying for Cr at a shipyard as much as you want.
So I guess you can use one deployed version of each ship. Didn't test it myself though...

No you can only have one prebuilt/early access of any particular ship.
I am not sure, I was thinking of doing that for the Python before I realised that I could just buy one at a shipyard thanks to having the early access.
As they are three different ships you can get all three from the game store.
