There is none. What you missed while you were away was a lot of barking up wrong trees, going down wrong alleyways, and spinnage of wheels.
The author of some Elite book tweets hints on a regular basis. Like EB,P and ..,. .......,.. ....
No hint whatsoever about the fart noise that thing does. They went to great lengths to create an unsolvable puzzle. I think it is even bugged. Anyway, they decided to just forgot about that and simply say nonsense over the good old interwebs.

It is actually solvable if you sit down and have a go at it.
ALL the answers are there, you just have to put the pieces together... Something I'm about halfway through, but had to stop due to family commitments and won't be able to finish it off till the weekend.
But everything you need to solve it is already there...

You may be right, but lighten up old friend people are enjoying this either way.Maybe the next puzzle they set will have good answer....even if this one doesn't.
I suspect it has by at least one player going by what on Drew Wagner twitter feed but they haven't shared their process or what they discovered with the forum or any other player as far as I know, an it way beyond my skills. I suspect we are just hours/days away from it being discovered by someone who is willing to share how they did it and where it leads us to, which I suspect is probably another puzzle.

To get caught up, I suggest you look up him up on the forums and read each of his posting, found under activities in his profile.
A few logs were thrown on the fire by him dropping some hints in an official capacity.. I'll let you read up, but to start.. check his posting signature.. bottom right corner.
Make sure you spend time reading the Formidine RIft, Lady Karina, and his blogs. Again, do this through his activity and read his postings.. it'll help you sort through all the nebulous stuff and get to the core of the topic. (Laugh about that last part later)
