Is the Vulture really that good?

I too have a Vulture, so does my wingman and to be honest nothing touched us all evening. We made around 600,000 cr in a nav beacon this eveing and both came back to port with full shields (we never dropped below 1 ring on shields) and 100% hull.

It is a beast and can punch above its weight with ease.

1 question I do have though is can you fit an A5 power plant on it? I have looked and looked and can not find one anywhere, even in stations I know have them in stock (well they do when I turn up on my Dbx)

For me the Vulture is pretty bad for everything, but I also have a very unique style of combat so it's main function isn't that good for me. This also is likely effected by the fact that the second I got the game and went into it I immediately started doing missions and then the second I had enough money I upgraded to the Hauler, and I only regularly use freighters.

Yes. I just have 1 C3 Beam right now saving up for the other, but just 1 is devastating. Then there's the oversized shield's, the manuverability. It's only shortcoming's are it need's a thoghtfull approach to building up, and power management is a must.

No it's max is same as Cobra and Diamondback's with just over 15mw power.

Yeah I thought so, I did have twin C3 beams on mine but they were so power hungry I swapped em out for twin pulse, more time on target and no real power issues.
