Is there a certain economy, type etc, that gives rare materials as mission rewards, more than usual?

Antimony, Arsenic, Cadmium, Ruthenium, Selenium, Tungsten, Tellerium, Yttrium, Zirconium.

thanks

Oh wow so you want like, all of them...

Don't think you can even get all of them from mission rewards - tried to get antimony and cadmium a while ago and according to INARA it's not a mission reward.

I'd focus on refinery systems for rare minerals - but I wouldn't hold my breath. Prospecting them yourself would probably be much quicker.

It'll be an extreme pain without the SRV.
Plus, finding one in the SRV means 3x the Material.

In the unlikely event of getting those without the SRV (a few occasionally pop up as Mission rewards, but overall they're quite rare), getting one would equal only 1x Material. That would effectively result in a hardcore grind with unknown results and no guaranteed success.

PS.
I hate making a trip to Maia for L5 Drive Mods. I literally hate that System and I hate bunny-hopping there and back.
Still... I do it when I need to. Can only stomach one trip per day (max.) - but I do it. And I get the results I need. Not sexy - but it works and I "walk the walk" to make it happen.

People say high tech systems but I'm not sure it matters. Boom state is good as more missions, I think.

I use high tech but I always did prior to 2.1 as they have the best outfitting so I can't comment whether they're better or not. Although I ranked with the empire in a non high tech system and I don't recall the mats spawning being any different.

Yesterday I was noting which materials I was getting in my local station but the list just got huge i.e. it seemed like everything just at random.

Mining is great for collecting loads of lower level element mats.

You will need to do some targeted SRV driving, search on here for good planets.
