Hardware & Technical Is there a CH Products thread here?

Not a specific thread for CH stuff as such, but plenty of fans around of the gear.

Were you looking for something specific?

what are they like to use? cause they look so ugly :(

Yup, a little ugly, but they are good. The Fighterstick especially because of all the hat switches. Much preferred it to an X52 Pro that I had.

The grips are large, so I stuck a little foam around the bottom lip of the grip. Perfect.

I have full CH set up and they look dull as dishwater but the best on the market.

They are also designed to be repaired by a novice with a spoon.

I have had saitec and logicrap they were designed to be thrown away and not repaired.

There are some bespoke makers of pedals etc which are awesome.

If they called the CH stick "Sharkteeth9" and put red stickers on it they would outsell the other sticks, the fact that CH is a industrial supplier of control systems is the reason they dont:D

yep, I've had all my CH gear apart to service it - pedals were from eBay and were a bit dusty inside so cleaned them out and had to replace one of the pots in the fighterstick and opted to replace the mini joystick in the pro throttle which still isn't great as it doesn't centre particularly well but you can just set a dead band and non linear response in software.

If you ever need spares I know of a few suppliers and there's some good advice in the CH Hanger forum http://www.ch-hangar.com/ especially the rep Debbie who sorted me out (for free) with some replacement pots as they're hard to track down.
