is there a difference between the voice packs sold on Frontier store, vs hcs voice packs

Not sure that I understand the difference, since I saw some of the voice packs like Carina for example; which is sold on both sites.

I have Voice attack but never used it; so I found that there are those voice packs and want to try one, although I am confused about the differences between the one on the frontier store and the one on the HCSvoicepacks site.

The ones sold for use with voice attack provide characterized responses that voice attack excutes on your verbal cue.
The ones on the frontier store site are merely replacements for the default ship voice and are not for use with voice attack.

... especially if you have multiple commanders.

... Plus the COVAS ones have been distorted to be more "electronic" in nature - Eden for example sounds horrible on the COVAS product page but lovely in HCS.
