Is there a discount on the Xbox version if I already own the PC Version?

What the title says, kinda like Elder Scrolls did? was wondering want to get the xbox version but would be nice if it was discounted so I don't have to pay full price twice. Thanks!

Currently, the only "discount" is the purchase of the game preview version, which rolls over to the full version - once released. Not sure what Frontier has in store, so you might have to stay tuned to see what they will do for their big announcement at Gamescom.

Johnnylebong: Never played this up until I downloaded the trial. Loved it, gonna pre order it! Just wondering how long I'll have to wait for it?

A softball question to end! You can play RIGHT NOW by buying the Game Preview version of Elite: Dangerous for Xbox One for £24.99, and when we release the full game your Game Preview version will be updated to the full game at no extra cost.

Hey I am from PC too. Glad to see you here on the box. It is discounted 30 bucks cheaper in fact hope to see you soon.

The £24.99 or equivalent price in each territory is discounted for the preview version of the game. When it's released, it goes up to full price, likely £40, £45 or £50. For a limited time there was a £5 voucher for the Frontier store if you played the game for 2 hours, but I think that was only valid until the end of July.

Anyway, £25 for the full game is a great price. When it's released, you'll get the full game automatically at no extra charge.

I apologize if this is answered elsewhere, but if this is just a preview....what are we missing from the full version?

Right now, in the preview, we don't get private play. We also do not have Powerplay fully enabled. And, hopefully a lot of these bugs will be fixed by the time the game is released. Oh, and the CQC[close quarters combat] will be part of the full game.

And, once the full game rolls out, everyone on the game preview will have certain things reset:

As we add content like CQC to Elite: Dangerous on Xbox One we’re going to have to reset some data, but because the Game Preview is longer than our usual PC beta tests we’re aiming to keep as much progression as possible. Discovery data and Powerplay status will be reset, but we’re looking to ‘cash in’ everyone’s ships and modules so you won’t lose your financial progress, and you’ll be able to re-spec with a whole different kind of ship if you’d like.

Best of all, we plan to preserve all the Commander data, such as Rank, Credits, Progress to Elite, Xbox Hero Stats and Achievements throughout the Game Preview and even into the full game.
