Is there a minimum value for an exploration report to count towards influence?

A few of our players have been out of the bubble recently, and as usual they dropped off their exploration data at our stations on their return. The outcomes from these drop-offs have produced fairly lacklustre results compared to similar trips in the past.

This has got me thinking that simple low value honks may no longer be counted by the BGS when deciding influence. I've previously been working under the assumption that a 400cr report would have the same influence effect as a 2M credit report, but now I am not so sure...

Anyone else notice any difference in Exploration data drop effects?

Guess I could get someone to do a bit of testing. Drop a bunch of data <1000cr in one out of the way system, and the same amount of >1000cr reports the next day.

Definitely used to be value independent in the past. I tested dropping single, unscanned star reports vs high value ones and they gave the same amount of influence back round about 2.1/2.2 time.

My impression (but it is only that) is that is not binary - there is a transition from 0 to 1 transaction.

the value of data has been halved since 2.2
