The Call of the Void ! I started (and hopefully returned !) my first trip to Sag A* like that. I was out to try and test my newly acquired ASP Explorer on the nearer Nebula... went straight to the core...

I've also poured through the manual and scoured the internet in search of either a mention of or a means to remove the quantum distortion that gets installed along with Elite. You'll know it's there when you look at the clock and it's 8:00pm and you go "It's just two jumps to..." and then look at the clock again and it's 1:00am.

Call of the void...

Had that about 4 months ago and returned to Colonia on Monday this week, as an Elite Explorer with more than 46000 lightyears on the odo-meter... Now its only 23000 lightyears to home :)
