Is there a ship size comparison for the new big ships?

I think I recall seeing something like this somewhere (but then again it could have been the alchohol) but is there a ship comparison overlay showing the size of the Corvette and Cutter v Anaconda anywhere?

Would like to see how big the new big ships really are. I'm kinda disappointed in the Cutter design and the only reason I'd get it to replace my Anaconda as my new big ship is if it's significantly bigger. If it's not then it may as well be my Clipper.

No not yet. Wait until tomorrow. The 2 new ships are slightly larger than the Anaconda and serve their roles differently than the Anaconda. They will not be the same experience in a different skin.

They will be around the same size, so "significantly bigger" is not happening yet. However they did say the Corvette is slightly longer and wider but around the same height since you are curious.

I thought I've read a comment from Michael Brookes saying the Corvette was roughly one third longer than the Anaconda. Of course, that could have changed...

That was a fan speculation and it was a presumed layover. In fact on double checking my Anaconda on the pad 1/3rd longer would be impossible or roughly about the max length a ship can actually be and still go down to outfitting with out folding up in some manner.

Two current limitations on size....letterbox and pad size. Letterbox will limit height and width, pads will limit length. There is a maximum size and shape that can occur...and David has called this the 'Panamax Problem'...based on this idea:

Past that, the only thing we know for certain is that Class wise, the Anaconda, Cutter, and Corvette are all the same class. I would think minor size differences and roles...anything past that would be speculation.

Which is wider, the letterbox or the large landing pad? I'd have thought the former. I've gone through the letterbox alongside T-9s, but I can't imagine I'd fit alongside one on a large landing pad. If so - maybe the landing pad limits the maximum width.

I'd wonder if the hanger height might be less than the letterbox height too?
