I just encountered a Courier that was chain launching chaff and I could not lock on to him to fire my gimbals. One thing I did learn is that I am switching to fixed weapons now. The sure amount of chaff he was dropping didn't seem right. Would it be possible to load out a courier that can pump chaff out?
Is there a trick out there for unlimited chaff launching?

Double chaff can keep up chaff disruption, at least the last time I checked.
Exactly this. I use double chaff on my smuggling ship along with double heatsinks.
I use dual launchers on all my boats. Not to avoid fire. To look glamorous.

Except they do a bit less damage and have no auto-aim, whereas fixed has a little bit of auto-aim. Makes a big difference when sniping IMHO.
yea defiantly, for pure sniping its fixed weapons all the way.
should also say that the unlocking trick works best whit lasers and can be tricky whit projectiles when you have to lead.
