Is there a way to find suits?

If you check the https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/the-great-pre-upgraded-gear-sharing-is-caring-thread.576352/ thread any item mentioned will still be there in a basic G1 form. Right now I'm in Lynden-Bell Terminal in LTT 9863, which stocks basic G1 Maverick and Artemis suits

I agree. Suits should be listed in commodities so you know where to find them and how much they cost. Kinda sad I have to find my way to Jameson before I can take any of the missions offered at Fabian. Still no way to find ships or suits in game. Maybe they will have them listed on Eddb at some point.
I've had some good luck at planetary ports. Went on a scavenger hunt today and managed to find better suits than what I initially bought (2 G2's, one with an upgrade and a G3) but I haven't been able to find anything better than G1 weapons.
I saw a backpack-reloading G2 rocket launcher earlier today....
Just look around at every station you fly through and keep checking. I've found a number of stations with literally nothing (even after the supposed fix; gotta love when they say, "If I don't have it, it ain't worth having," and then they have nothing), but I've also found a few surprise upgraded suits. Don't remember where I got it, but I'm wearing a G3 Maverik I bought for nearly 4M somewhere out there.... Thing is better at combat than the G1 Dominator I got at Jameson before setting out to monkey around. I've also seen G2 dominator and artemis around.

Adding ready-made G2/G3 gear for purchase was one of the good design decisions and a feature I had been wanting to see in Horizons for ages (and still do). It's still early days so there isn't much knowledge about when/where those are available, but if you come across a station/port that has at least one those specials it's worth it to check the rest of the system - chances are high that other concourses have specials as well. And if you see something you like don't wait, because stock for those is limited and if it's sold, it is gone for everyone else.
