Is there a way to let EDSM know you are missing a badge?

Is there a way to let EDSM know you are missing a badge? I tried to find a way to post a message on the EDSM site but couldn't find a way. I am missing a Wolf Hunter badge. I made a first discovery of a Wolf-Rayet star at RUEKAEA AA-A H2. I have run Ed Discovery a couple of times in the past few days and synced my unsynced logs. Do I need to do something else/ Thanks.

If you look right at the very bottom of an EDSM page there are 'Discord' and 'Forum' buttons, try those.

Badges can take a few days to come through though, that's perfectly normal.

I'm missing three badges, simply because I did those things before registering at EDSM. Can't be bothered to repeat them.

There are no bodies registered for this system: www.edsm.net/en/system/id/40124917/name/Ruekaea+AA-A+h2
Therefore EDSM has no way to know that there is a WR present.
Did you sync your logs to EDDN? As far as I remember EDSM gets it body data from EDDN.

If you manually upload the journals for the right time period, it can often trigger EDSM to award the badges.
That's out then. The oldest logs I have date back to 2016. I said hi to Sag A* and put my name onto a few waterworlds and earthlikes in August 2015.

Edit: Just remembered that I got a new PC back then. Checked the old, and sure enough, the netlogs are there. Useless though, apparently I didn't have verbose logging on.

Yes. I synced Ed Discovery twice with EDSM and when i review my flight logs on EDSM it shows I was the first to discover the star. Also the Galmap in Elite shows I was the first to discover the star

I said EDDN, not EDSM.

Here is a system with bodies synced to EDDN, note the tab 'Celestial bodies'.
Here is your system again, apparently not synced to EDDN, note the missing 'Celestial bodies' tab.

This is how the flight log entry in EDSM looks like if the main star is known (and is a F class).
Right now EDSM only knows that you were the first to discover the system, but not what bodies are in that system - hence no WR badge.

Thanks. I am following your instructions as we speak. My only confusion is I have never encountered this issue before with EDSM. The first to discover an ammonia world badge was given to me without having to send unsynced EDDN events. Anyway, I really appreciate the advice. I'll let you know how it turns out.

I checked all of my settings and sync to EDDN is selected. I went back through my EDSM flight logs and starting on April 26th is when the stars are not identified in my flight log entries. Every entry before that time in EDSM is complete. I'm doing a manual sync of all unsynced EDDN entries to EDSM. It has been going on for hours.

Strange, I had no problems syncing to EDDN since months. I assume that EDDiscovery is running in the background while you are playing?
If no, then start it before playing - if yes, then seek assistance here.

After 20 hours of syncing to EDDN it worked. I am still not sure why ED Discovery stopped sending my date to EDDN. I had sync to EDDN checked in EDDiscovery. Oh well, success and I will monitor EDSM to make sure EDDN is sending the data. Thanks for all of the help.

We don't automatically retry if it fails, so if some network issue went past in the logs and you didn't notice (from your side or theirs) then it waits for a manual sync.

So I scanned another 25 systems and then ran ED Discovery. It synced with EDSM but again failed to sync any events with EDDN. Sync to EDDN is checked so I'm not sure what is happening.

EDD has to run in the background while playing to automatically send entries to EDDN (I'm quite surprised that you say it syncs to EDSM on startup).

This will look like this:
