Is there a way to look up a pilot in ED ?

Say you're out cruising and another pilot want to wing up, or you get chased thru three different star systems, or you see another CMDR at a RES.. is there a way to look up their stats, or reputation ( How many bounties collected, how many fines have they accrued, where are they wanted ).
.
Just thinking that it would be nice to be able to scan that player and see things like, wow, they've had over 35 million in fines/bounties levied against them. You might want to think twice about letting them get too close. Or, wow, they only have 97 recorded kills but 780 million in trade.
.
Also be nice to see last login time for friends ( or enemies ).

I don't think so, but I guess if you can see a CMDR's Combat rating there isn't really a reason why you wouldn't be able to see their Trading and Exploration rank as well.

Well you can purchase a kill warrant scanner. That will, in theory, provide you with the sum of bounties they have on their head.

Edit: Additionally the 'Elite' rating you see next to their name when you target them provides some evidence of their combat rating.

I going to say No, but I am open to correction.

I would ask on top to the OPs question, can you look up your own stats? They must be stored on a server.

Yeah, that will, but it doesn't give you any indication of the pilot reputation. An evil n00b-shooter might not have a bounty at the moment. And an elite rating only tells you they are good with the guns, not what they were doing with them.

Well then, aside from checking the station 'news' for the top bounties as you travel. There is no way to find out about a players rep.

I actually also think there is some potential there, especially for bounty hunters. Combined with the ability to get some information about what left a jump wake, similar to FE2. Bring back ship registration numbers.
