Newcomer / Intro Is there a way to move a ship from one place to another?

The title does sound silly, so let me elaborate.

Right now, my main ship is an eagle, and I want to move on to a viper. I want to keep my eagle in L 639-45 system as it is a really nice place for quick dogfights for bounty so I can return there whenever I wanna just dogfight for couple hours (i.e. I don't see myself taking my eagle outside of this system once I get my viper, but I want to use it there when I want). The problem is, the station where I want to store my ship (Walker Orbital), doesn't sell a viper (although it does have a shipyard).

Is there any way to keep the eagle there and buy a viper somewhere else?

You can fudge it by buying a sidewinder, fly to where you want the viper. Sell sidewinder, buy viper.

You'll make a small loss on it.

guessing I would say sell the eagle there buy something cheap keep the eagle there fly el'cheepy to viper sales and buy viper and sell el'cheepy

You have two ships at Station A and want to move both to Station B. You can only fly one ship at a time.

Ships are X & Y both at Station A.

Fly ship X to Station B.

Buy new ship Z at Station B.

Fly ship Z to Station A.

Sell ship Z at Station B (10% loss on purchase price, or just store it there)

Fly ship Y to Station B.

You now have ships X & Y in Station B, and be 10% down on Ship Z, or have it stored at Station A.
