is there a way to order blueprints?

gotten really fast to the point of an overwhelming amount of blueprints. i would like to create sub folders for them i.e western ..horror etc.

also alot of blueprints arent not in the correct menu. if i could create my own sub menus for them that would be really nice.

You know I actually been talking about this with some friends. I just never posted about it because I'm lazy. I totally agree 100%. There isn't anything more annoying than having to search through 30 or more blueprints and have to search again because you missed it the first time.

yep and not just for blueprints. that would definitly help a lot to have a much better control over those things we really need to create our parks and/or rides. :)

one day i'd love to see a more custom driven approach to the selection menues of objects, something like custom categories and subcategories with the ability to group items to own categories - like a bookmark tree of favorites - or - a custom "object explorer" which also lists all buildings and its parts, all text-based and editable (rename, change order, delete entire groups or selected items, exchange object(s) with different object - this would be far more easy than trying to select those single pieces deep inside a building). :)

Ability to tag any item (we name the tags). Multiple tags.
And then have a favourites tab, with the tags being the subgroups. An item shows up in any subgroups it has tag for.

This is a perfect idea for blueprints [up][up]

but it doesnt help with save files (which could also use organizing)

wow looks like this topic seeems to be going on since like over a year. wasnt expecting that tbh . i dont know its nice to have some cheats...but i think the devs should really prioritize actual gameplay improvements over some cheat codes which i never gonna use anyway.

Yes like the ability to set friction per coaster instead of having it enabled for all coasters, and also allow us to save the friction how we want instead of having to re-enable it each time

I don't know... setting the friction to your liking seems like a cheat to me anyway. The solution Vampiro posted is much more to my (personal) liking. He suggested having set Options for alternative Wheel Types. Harder Wheels have a rougher ride, (which in turn ups the intensity) but is faster. Softer Wheels have a smoother Ride (lower intensity) but are slower. By the way, this is how it works in Real life. Some Coasters have on one train a mixture of differend Wheels which gives the opitmal mix between smoothness and speed. Maybe we can add an extra option: via the Research Function we could research a new (maybe fictional) Wheel Material which can offer smoothness and a certain speed.

A Friction slider would for me be too much, it defeats the point of the coasters being a puzzle you have to solve. A friction Slider would undermine that too much in my opinion. But like i said, these are just my two cent.

where did I say anything about a slider? [tongue]

I know Frontier said a slider is not going to happen :(

Vampiros idea sounds good though [up]
