Is there an easy way of finding conflict zones?

I've been flying from system to system trying to find a conflict zone to see what the earnings are like. Must have been to about 15 systems and yet nothing. Typical - when I don't want them I see them all the time, when I want one, I can't find one for scap.

Is there an easy way of knowing when a system goes into conflict? Something pop up in the Galaxy map or Galnet?

Same for me. Since 1.1 combat zone fighting is a lot more fun but finding them is always a real pain.

Perhaps this could be added to the Pilots Federation in communication screen, sort of a recruiting sergeant thing requesting volunteers for war zones.

ATM conflict zones are the most fun way to make money. Not alot of money, but its worth it in terms of fun.

That they are so hard to find is unsurprising and pretty typical of this game. Dangle the fun in front of you and then make you work for it.

This is why I posted this proposal of information bleeding. If information from neighbour systems would "spill over" into local GalNet news, you wouldn't need so much luck (or pedantism in visiting each and every system) to find exacly what you are looking for.

Unfortunately, the respons wasn't exactly... overwhelming.
