Watched video did not see game stop.
Is the problem that you are no coming out of jump or taking longer to jump systems? If so that is a network issue having had that myself.

The issue is that when I try to jump out it doesn't actually reach hyperspace; ie. the countdown timer reaches zero but it doesn't jump.
Also, if I am in a station and select "Station Services" I'm unable to do anything - ever the ESC key won't work and I have to terminate the program.

This happens when the game cannot access a server. Sometimes it's because the servers are really busy, or because they're down or unreachable. If it happens right after an upgrade, make sure your firewall is not getting in the way.

Thanks for the reply. Yes it happens in SOLO also, however it's a little different; I jump into hyperspace but it stays in there permanently and doesn't pop out into the next system.
Do you think this is a problem specific to me? I was playing for hours yesterday without issue, I logged off for the update 1.1.02 at 16:00 hours yesterday and then continued a little while later. But today I have this issue. Nothing has changed on my firewall.

It's probably not your end, and sounds server (or at least session) specific to me. Give your hardware firewall / router a reboot to clear the ARP table and DNS cache, and see if that cures it, as your ED client will then be finding a different set of servers to send requests to.
