Is there any way to adjust the tone/brightness of the skybox?

EDprofiler used to be great for this but it seems tone mapping no longer works. I want to make the galactic disc a bit brighter and overexposed (similar to the way it looked when on the night side of planets before the big lighting overhaul). Is there any way to do this? I’ve heard that you can use programs like reshade to modify graphics but I can’t find any guides or details despite a lot of Googling.

I don't think it modifies the sky box, but it does a buncha other stuffs. I don't use it, but maybe it'll help you.

I do know that the sky box is on one shader, cuz whenever I'm in there monkeying with them that's one that shows up.

Thanks! I’ll check it out

find the graphicsconfiguration.xml - DO NOT edit it though.
Somewhere in there are settings for the skybox, pretty sure that includes various things that can increase the brightness and the size of the galactic disk.

Once you've found that section in the file, copy it and paste in to the GraphicsConfigurationOverride.xml file, which currently should be basically empty.

Backup both files first. They are in different folders as far as I remember.
