Is there any way to know potential cohabitation problems ahead of time?

If we have a dinosaur who we painstakingly make and who is a herbivore who theoretically gets along with the herbivores already present in an exhibit, is there any way to know ahead of time that we'll go over the cohabitation limit of the new dinos we produce? I made a stegosaurid who theoretically would get along with my other herbivores, had humble and tolerant traits. Once I put him in the exhibit, it says there's a cohabitation problem which sucks since I already wasted a bunch of money on him.

I looked at the preferences and the new dinosaur did not dislike or like the dinos I put him with. However I had no way of knowing there would be a cohabitation issue before putting him in the exhibit

If you check your dinosaur's status, there should be a bar labeled "cohabitation". This should tell you, generally, how many other dinosaurs they can have around. Dinosaurs they like won't fill this bar, but dinosaurs they are neutral towards usually will.
