Powerplay Is this a bug or did i actually lose my salary because of auto docking

I was on my way to nanomam to claim my salary of 5 mil. I used the auto docking computer on my ship that boosted and then failed to dodge the hull of the station and destroying my ship. Next thing i know i cant see my salary. Is it gone ? I think its very unfair that i lost it due to a bug in the game. I am a casual player and therefore 5 mil is a big amount for me.

Please let me know if i can get it back somehow?

unlike bounty claims and bonds, your salary isn't on your ship. Your accrued merits dont reset to 0 if you die for the week. Your salary is something you earned last week, just sitting at a station waiting for you. It should be no different than your bank account waiting for you at a station, only you have to meet up with a power representative on the station to receive it.

This is definitely a logical miss on FD's part.

Yep, apparently your salary vanishes if you die before collecting it.
That does not make sense and feels wrong to me since it is not the case for community goals, where you can come collect your reward even if your ship gets destroyed.

The Salary is a Bond like a Trade Bond or a Combat Bond, and like these - it does indeed dissapear if you are killed before collecting it. :(

Yeah I wasn't sure about this - but I'm pretty sure my salary disappeared and I didn't die.
Did die a bunch of times in CQC though.

uh I got last weeks rank pay - not this weeks. 500,000 as compared to 5,000,000
working as intended.

Got the salary refunded. The devs said the salary is actually a voucher and not a bond so should persist through ship destruction.

Well it does not, apparently, I am still experiencing the same issue with 1.4, I hope I get a refund or I am no game anymore.
