Hi Guys

I currently have four bountys in four different systems, i just jumped into a system Deciat where none of my bountys are from and was about to dock when suddenly i was attacked and destroyed by 'The Shield of Justice', now i was listed as hostile in that system however i just checked and all 4 bountys have reset to 7 days....... they weren't that long to start with, two of them were for 5 days and two for four days.....

Am i missing something?

Does not sound like a bug. You were killed by a PP faction ship. The fact you were showing hostile there tells that it was a powerplay kill. Are you sure the bounties reset or did they go dormant, if killed without bounties collected they may have went dormant. Also if you fired back at the shield of justice and they were clean you possibly incurred more bounty and maybe the system faction where you had the bounties had a presence in Deciat

Yeah, if you've joined PowerPlay then those types of things will happen. Has nothing to do with bounties in that case, they are after you because of your PP faction.

Yep have joined pp, I wasnt concerned about the fact they were after me it's the timer reset that confused me. Live and learn although I was in a hauler without Shields or weapons so I couldn't fire back...... As an act of defiance I went again and landed quick in order to get my asp, the station had no issues with me.

I've seen some strange issues with hostilities. I was just in a nav beacon shooting wanted for bounties, when *some* of the Federal ships suddenly went red and started attacking me. As far as I'm aware, I didn't shoot any of them. Once I was under attack, I targeted one of them and returned fire - I instantly got a bounty! Needless to say, I died.
