What am I supposed to do with this GalNet Feed? Is it just a code I'm supposed to solve or is this just a another buggy GalNet?

Looks like it was redacted. You've been hacking into the Empires military networks? Also you also seem to be from 7 hours in the future! Do the community goals get finished in time?

Nice. I think you are bugged. I believe that story was about a pilot who is dead and who discovered gold in LAWD 26 that had been untapped. I went there yesterday and tooled around the belts and scanned but didn't find much...although I didn't look closely.

I guess it's a version of the bug where you get the galnet messages in other languages. It happens for me too from time to time.
Day before I had german, french and those 'coded' news on various stations although my game runs in normal english. Some jumps later everything was back to normal.

Just like the forums I am assuming GalNet has profanity filters.

This is what I think too - I was buying rares in Uszaa the other day when it happened for the first time; I found myself reading a bunch of french news articles...my first thought was that the pesky french speaking group had finally succeeded in grabbing a foothold near Lave

The actual cause of that error is you client is trying to display text in a language your machine can't represent. Maybe Russian or Chinese or <insert keyboard you don't have installed>

this probably has to do with the galnet displaying various languages.

seems like you are displaying a language your comp can't display (like maybe cyrillic or asian language), thus it replace all the unknown caracters with a standard place holder.

probably greek or russian or something like that....

I have that bug currently.
Reported it in a ticket, and 2 days later, they closed the ticket saying that this should no longer be an issue... but there has been no patch in that time, and still experiencing it.

Add a comment onto your ticket saying bug is still in effect. It should reopen your ticket

Yeah I know its a pain but they seem to still have a support capacity issue. Their approach at the moment seems to be collate reports, pick a list of issues to fix, attempt fix, close ALL tickets related to issues. Try to think of it less of a personal slight and more of a firefighting measure.

I've still got a ticket open from 11 Dec that hasnt even been looked at. Your still ahead of me here
