Is this a joke???!!!

So my wingman is interdicted by an elite conda, I lock onto his signal and attack the conda and tell him to jump out (as he is damaged). Upon entering supercruise he is interdicted by the VERY SAME CONDA and destroyed, you know the SAME conda I've just blown to bits!!!

The issue is the spawn is relative to him, him leaving means if respawns for him as the generated entity is tracking him not you.

If he had remained he would have been better off.

That's pretty ridiculous. How hard could it be to trigger an end to that NPCs interdiction after it has been killed (regardless of how it died)?

No the issue is they treat wings like individuals.

The issue is how to solve the issue its not an easy thing to fix, it would mean linking all missions to all players that are active, so they killing the npc after another player would effect the sim for that other player, which could cause issues when npcs of the same name are killed but in different locations.

So 'Sparks' is killed it will just keep spawning clones of him regardless the fact he is now dead?

He has a twin brother ?

It is a joke, the whole game is a joke. :(

And wings is just a single player plugin with no coop missions or player trade or credits transfer.

The only thing you can do in wing is combat and even that is really bad.

That's what happens with no central server keeping track of the state of the universe and pushing down updates. Clients are left to their own device and just don't communicate after they no longer share an instance, meaning changes made by you aren't reflected on anyone else's computer if they are no longer there to see it.
I'm terribly sorry for you if you thought you were buying an MMO (you might think that, it's written on the store page after all), but ED is a single player game with bare minimum multiplayer functionality and meta online features in the form of the shared BGS.

it wouldn't be hard to kill the npc at all, it's just a flag they didn't account for. It would have to go in the wing code.

Yeah this happens a lot. I do believe they should reduce the tenacity of pirate NPC's its a bit of kilter. Its very unrealistic, especially the rate at which they re-interdict.

It's a bug. For now, the way to save an interdicted wingman after you drop in is for the wingman to boost away as you engage the enemy, staying in normal space and staying in the same instance, but out of weapons range, until you have eliminated the threat. If your wingman sees the threat destroyed, their game client won't respawn it.

Sry to hear it, happened to me and my friends multiple times too. Makes such manoveurs useless :(

The reason behind is, that the NPC's aren't persistent and "locked" to their target (here the cmdr of your friend) and they get recreated every time when the target-cmdr chances the instance.
In my opinion just a bad design

That's why NPC's don't have any cooldown after you low-waked out from them as above already said^^

Yep, this has been clear to me for a very long time , which is why , Consequence Commutation Commerce, is the bane of ED

FD Support don't give a damn about their working as intended Instant Interdictions even like this. They owe me 6.4million for a similar case but could not be bothered to even acknowledge the bad design!
