Just noticed that the Imps are attempting to expand into a Fed system very close to my pledged Fed power's borders.

Can't be having that so I checked what I needed to do to oppose them and it was to destroy their ships in that system but....

When I do, it damages my Fed reputation and the local Feds slap me with a fine me and a wanted sticker

It's still illegal. They're not technically doing anything wrong.

unless your power controls the system you cant just go in and kill enemies no matter what major faction it is
