Is this game live yet?

I quit Elite Dangerous about 6 months ago because they kept resetting the stats, and I don't see the point in playing if progress isn't going to be saved- so my question is: is the game live yet?

or are they going to reset everyone again at some point?

The game has been "live" since gamma (~early december last year). As in there hasn't been any resets since then.

No resets but the 1.2 update is on way at the moment. And yes the game was released in December.

its been live without resets since the gamma came out last year, at the time you quit it was still in beta so i'm very surprised you were not aware there would be resets.

No more resets. In fact no resets since the start of Gamma. The game is live.

They haven't reset anything since launch & I doubt they ever will. It messes with persistence.

The popular thing to do is farm trading but 1.2 has made combat a bit more profitable.

And to the Tc yeah live, trading and as of recently combat makes decent profit, not asfast as trading but more enjoyable.
