I slowly think this game is designed for alcoholics. I kept bounty hunting in an anarchy system, fresh 80k credits on the clock, ready to be claimed. Done with my Eagle, shooting some freighters with bounties (Type 7), harmless Anacondas and elite Sidewinders. When a 50% competent Clipper fled via FSD I went off for the forums, 12km away from the nav beacon, without bounty on my head or cargo in my ship. Borderless and stuff. All alone, according to my A sensors...
...When all of a sudden my surround system goes "under attack". Under panic I boosted forward and checked what's going on. Turned out to be a deadly Eagle trying his new, shiny weaponry on my hull. I was on 100%, but somehow I went boom within 10 seconds flat. Made me hit the table with my head.
With all the attention griefing players get in the forum, I felt griefing NPCs should have their place also. Next time Federation scans me for illegal liqueurs they'll only find empty bottles.
[Disclaimer: I do enjoy the game very much. It's just its humour that I don't get.
