Is this gonna be a problem?

I was in Eravate a few days ago, being all dastardly, and decide to call it a night at Ackerman Market, where I am wanted, but it has a black market. No dramas, I drop out of SC, go dark, and sneak into the station with no one any the wiser. As I often do before calling it a night, I went into outfitting to admire my sexy ball of spaceship a while.
That's when things went pear shaped. My turreted pulse lasers deployed, and started firing at something. Now the station is hostile to me (it may have been before, but it accepted my docking request and did not fire on me once I turned the lights back on). Since then I have been in bed with a bad head-cold, and have not since logged in. There has been a patch in this time, but I wonder if the station will attack me when I undock?

Mildly concerned,
Rus.

Well you can always pay off the bounty before you disembark.

Other than that you should be fine as far as I know, as long as you don't get scanned on the way out the station won't "remember" you were hostile.

Do it like you're smuggling on the way out? Silent running etc... Station should not be shooting you without scanning again when you log in.

There is another solution that is within the game's mechanic (not cheating), but with the new forum rules I am not sure if discussing it is allowed...

To be safe, maybe sell everything on your ship you can, downgrade all you can, sell your ship, buy the cheapest they got, then undock? I expect they'll fire on you.

Hang on... your turrets started firing when you were in Outfitting? Surely that's not right, as you would have been in the hangar and therefore nothing should have been visible to your ship (and vice versa). Sounds like a bug?

I have considered that, though I would simply buy a new sidey and store my Python.

EDIT: Yes, it occurred while in outfitting, in the hanger. Will my turreted weapons always behave like that? I have them set to "Target Only", but it did not seem to make a difference. This is the first ship I have used turrets on, so I have no idea if this is normal behaviour. Seems like it shouldn't be.

I've seen a couple others post this on the forums recently. I don't think it's a bug as much as the turrets aren't set up to not fire when docked, which really they should be.

In hangar I often csn still target other ships. Now if they are hostile and turret is set as fire at will and they happen to fly close enough to be within range (game does not seem to realize there's station wall when docked).

Ouch! Didn't know you were in a Python, that's a huge hit if you sell ya just buy sidey, much smarter, don't know what I was thinking lol. I do believe the turrets will do that in the future as well, again based on others posting this just

I would ticket that. I misread your original post, but turrets should be able to fire in the hanger at all, no matter what targeting settings you have applied.

I don't think the station will pop you since you logged out, but this is outside my personal experience.

I advise you to POWER OFF your turrets when entering a station, as I have heard nothing but grief from other players over this sort of thing.

You were wanted, the station was red. When you request docking the station is targeted. When you go into outfitting your turrets deploy and shoot at anything red. Even on 'Target only' they'll shoot the station as you still have it targeted. I don't see it as a bug, the turrets are just doing what they are programed to do.

That happened to quite a number of folks in the past (ha! your cover has been blown and the Station has detected your hideout! ;) ).

So far - those that simply undocked without realizing what happed got instantly shot to shreds, no later than trying to leave the Station...
Might be a good idea to pay off any Fine/Bounty before trying that.

PS.
Not sure if the trick works : but straight after hitting the Launch button (4 pips to Shields to be good) - Quit to Menu - then log in again.
With a bit of luck, you'll find yourself 20km from the Station. Might help if it's indeed Hostile to you (which I deem likely).

With less luck than that - might be a good idea indeed to try it first in a fresh, cheap Sidewinder instead. Then you'll know for sure what happens (but in a cheaper way).

thats a mighty fine idea.. buy the cheap sidey and see what happens, good educational value for sure :)
