Is this graphic ard good enough?

Hello there,

I built my pc a couple of years ago and spent a good amount of money on it. I have i7 3770k, 32GB of ram, and a EVGA GTX 680 classified with 4GB of ram.

I know that I will be ok with the i7 and the ram; however, I am not sure about the graphic card will allow me to play the game with all settings maxed out.

So, does anyone know, maybe a dev, if I can keep my card or I should get a new one?

The 680 is a pretty decent card so it should run the game no problem. We cannot really say for sure until we get our hands on the game tomorrow though

Yea the Nvidia cards that end in "80" are usually one of the top of the line cards for that series. Your card is a little older since it is a "600" series (came out in 2012) but it should run the game with no problems

it's an old card now, but still should be alright, the minimum specs listed was for a GTX 560, so take that as you will...

Yeah, I bought it early in 2013 and it was still quite expensive. The 7 series was already out I believe but it was way too expensive for me.

I built it in order to play SimCity 2013 [rolleyes] After that game came out, I said never ever again will I build a pc for a game, lol.

I do hope I can play PC with all graphic settings maxed out. The game looks so beautiful that it would be a shame not being able to do so. I will updated this thread with some pictures after I play the game and report its performance.

Happy management!

Sure, I saw the minimum requirements, but what I would like to know if I can play it with all graphic settings maxed out; otherwise, I will buy a new graphic card. I have to save some money first though :(

Do we have minimum requirements yet? Im really curious as to if my system can even run the game well.

Windows 7 64bit or newer
Intel Core i5 -2300, AMD FX-4300 or better
8GB Ram
Nvidia GTX 560 / ATI Radeon 7850 Graphics card with 2GB of Graphics Memory or better

You made this thread just to brag about your specs lol. The card isn't the absolute best but come on man ,with that processor and RAM :I

Please could you guys also see if either of these two laptops have good enough specs to pass the minimum requirement? his is 4.GB ram and AMDA6-6310 APU with AMD Radeon R4 graphics- 1.80GHz
My other has 8.00GB RAM AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon(tm) Hd graphics 1.90GHz. Thanks so much I am so grateful if anyone can tell me

Wait till you see how the game works guys..and how optimized and customizable it will be at launch. E:D has about the same requirements, but runs ok at vastly inferior machines..[happy]

If we glue or two card it will be a 2 GB card [haha]

That would be nice, but my pc has only space for 1 graphics card. And my psu won't handle it either if I could have 2 cards.

I did saw this coming more or less, but to be honest I expected a minimum of 1 GB graphics RAM. I'll see how the game runs on my current pc, but I've started saving for a new one.

Might go for the Nvidia GTX 970 with 4 GB, but I'll have to save first, so I can see what I buy when the time comes...
