Newcomer / Intro Is this laptop spec good enough to run Elite Dangerous?

Hi,
I am new, and looking to play Elite Dangerous however I am wondering if the laptop I am going to buy will run it ok, here is the spec:
  • AMD Ryzen 5 3550H Quad Core Processor
  • 8GB DDR4 RAM
  • 512GB M.2 NVMe SSD
  • Dedicated GeForce GTX 1050 3GB Graphics
Is this good enough? I am not a serious gamer, just casual and looking to run flight sims, and Elite Dangerous.

Also: steam has a 2-hour refund window. So if it doesnt work (or you dont like it) you can just hit refund as long as you played less than two hours. Do note the launcher being open counts. So just try it, if it doesn't work close the game and the launcher and ask for an automated refund.
