I don't recall ever seeing that before.

Although I have just spent about two months exclusively in Supercruise.

Yup, new.

If you hit someone with that showing you will be fined. If you do significant damage or destroy the other ship, you will get bounty.

yes, its new. does not currently give out tickets yet or anything, unless you crash or ram into some other ship.

Added in 1.3. I think if you in a station and run into some and they explode, if you were speeding you get a murder bouty placed on you.

The days of boosting through the letterbox with sidewinders and hauler stuck to the windscreen are over... *sigh

The throttle reaching 100 seems to trigger the 'SPEEDING' warning. Tbh it's had little impact on me, I didn't even notice until I saw it posted on here. I've just carried on like before.
In solo it seems reasonable and realistic, so if its stopped muppets in open playing bumper cars then its all good

These Upgrades add functionality too so things constantly change (sorry).
I wonder, if you do get that speeding bounty (by killing) outside the Station do you get fired on by Police only and not the Station as only Police can scan?
I wonder, if you do get that speeding bounty inside the Station do you get destroyed by the Station even though it requires Police to do a scan?
Bounties are sent around the Galaxy by Report Crimes Against Me so how does this work?
