Is This Normal ? A route for 9000+ ly with 361 jumps?

Taking a guess here, you mean 900+ LY (the maximum is 1,000 LY) and if you chose the economic route calculation then 361 jumps sounds about right for a dense area. Switch to "fastest route" for fewer jumps but be aware of scoopable stars (or lack thereof). Make sure that at the point where your fuel ends, the star is scoopable and you'll be ok. The star after which your fuel ends will have the plotted route with dotted lines. Hope this helps.

Surely 23.6 Ly won't be the first jump on economical, when the closest system is 1.97 away with many more around. I assume that's an Anaconda.

That was a bug during the Engineers Beta, was fixed for release. Perhaps the mini update has reintroduced it

This, 9000 Ly in 360 jumps sounds about right to me for your run of the mill exploration build, but there was only ever one way I thought you could do that, which was during the beta.

It is 9000+ ly . That happened yesterday when i lost my ship during exploration.I could select only the system i was before i died! Probably this is due to the loss of my ship
