Sorry i did not realise the picture would be cropped in VR.

Doesn't seem like it. The faction I'm supporting has transport for nearby systems. I did see one for 95 Ly.

*edit*

Just got a couple for 205. 3M for 180T. Took em. I can sell the explo data when I get back :)

I've seen these in the game before, but quite rarely. For a day or two lots of long distance missions would appear at all ports within a local group of systems, all towards a small group of systems several hundred Light Years away. It looks like they're a lot more common now; which is a good thing :)

I've been hanging around Momoirent since the last CG doing various missions waiting for 3.0 to drop before I move on and do other stuff.

Before 3.0 I never had anything greater than about 30ly, I'm now seeing about 10 - 20% missions up to 280Lys away.

I'm not complaining just seems a new thing for me to see in a system in the middle of the bubble.

I concur. It's nice that the boards push you out of your little home sector every once in a while.

I hardly see how this is going to encourage players to travel further, I'm currently in CD-33 8748 where these two missions are side by side, both to courier sensitive poll data, one to Colonia (21,991.98 Ly) for 866,005 Cr (works out to approx. 604 Cr per jump with a ship averaging 15 Ly per jump as a comparison to second mission distance) the other to Kokoto (13.54 Ly) for 29,730 Cr. Simple maths shows the difference. No incentive to spend hours making one journey when the same amount of time can be used to earn over ten times that amount. There is nothing wrong with exploration or long distance mission such as these BUT they have to be made worthwhile.
