The title is a bit coincidental. Is it a joke about the background/inner working of elite dangerous and their company of the decades? Not sure what the song is about really.

That's a blast from the past. I have dim childhood memories of the show, mainly Stuart Hall laughing hysterically. I believe the games may have been the inspiration for Power Play.

Is there a connection between knockout and tekashis castle? I used to watch MXC alot. That was a fun show.

MXC is a parody or remake of tekashis castle if no one has seen it. It's redubbed and edited to make it funnier.
