Is Titanfall 2 worth getting?

You can play the trial (basically the tutorial and first mission if i'm not wrong).

I tried it and looks good, probably i will buy it when on sale :)

The professional review media rave about it to no end. Maybe they are right and it's excellent. Heard it's a short single player but apparently very good. The multiplayer is apparently punishing but very well done also.

The first game did it no favours. Most of the reason why I didn't buy the second. Which is maybe silly of me.

I just finished the single player and loved it. I wasn't expecting to spend so much time out of my mech, but I truly enjoyed it.

Have not played MP, but if you're into SP then I would say it's a good deal on sale.

At the urging of some people, I played Titanfall 2 "demo" on Origin (those 48 hour free kinda thing).

Personally didn't like it all that much. Didn't bother to buy it, and uninstalled it after about mission 5 or so. I personally like FPSes but somehow this one doesn't really appeal to me.

Another game I got stung by was Evolve. They eventually gave up support and moved on to some medieval fps. Wont be so quick next time..

Yes it is an amazing game and worth getting just for the single player.

There has been multiple updates to it with maps and modes added for free. No season pass. It might not have the largest community but I have no problems getting games.
