I recently moved over to PC from Xbox and have been trying to find out if its possible to transfer my cmdr or atleast their credits. Ive found several other threads claiming its possible but theyre all atleast a year or two old and policies/procedures can change in that time. Im well aware that its possible, and likely, my Xbox cmdr will be totally lost, along with progression and ranks, and im fine with that. My current assests are sitting in the 5-600 mil range, a pitence for some cmdrs, but much more than the 5 mil my pc cmdr is currently sitting at, and give me plenty of credits to play with

No reason why not. Send a message to support.
If you ask or transfer they will do it but:
You will receive the asset value in credits, but nothing else (no ranks, no materials, no engineers). Absolutely nothing bar credits.
You will also lose all cosmetics you got on XBox.
After the transfer, your XBox commander will get deleted.
Basically you will start in a Sidewinder, but with a lot of cash.
The general recommendation is to simply start over on PC.
Credits are easy to make.
And you can always start your XB cmdr anytime you wish, not like it costs you anything to keep it there...

You can probably get the money back quicker on your own.
Go straight to the high RES in Dromi, help the police kill the bad guys for about an hour gets you 1.5mil.
Outfit the sidewinder for mining ( Zeta Trianguli Australis for outfitting )and fly to Borann 2A triple hotspot to mine LTDs, gets you over 10 mil in about an hour including outfitting.
Buy a T6, outfit it for mining and fill it up with LTDs at Borann, gets you 60 mil in about an hour.
Buy a T7, outfit it for mining and fill it up with LTDs at Borann, gets you about 200 mil in about 2 hours including outfitting
One more trip gets you another 200 mil, so you have about 500 mil in about 7 hours.
You'll probably have to wait longer than that for CS to sort out your request, especially over the weekend.

^ sadly true. This is how unbalanced money making has become. For most of the way to a Cutter you can make 5x the ships value in one mining run. Why bother having ships at all?
